Frequently Asked Questions
01General
The WedPic Films is a luxury cinematic wedding film
and photography studio founded by Akshhit K Gandhi
in New Delhi. The studio has documented palace weddings,
destination celebrations, and intimate ceremonies across
India, Europe, and the Middle East — accepting only 20
weddings per year.
Akshhit K Gandhi is the founder and lead
filmmaker of The WedPic Films. He holds a Diploma
in Cinematography from DLCDUPVA Rohtak and a B.Tech from MDU
University. He has served as Director of Photography on
campaigns for Apollo, Kent, Panasonic, Farmtrac, and the
Government of India's Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. He
has received the Best Cinematographer and
Best Photographer industry awards.
The studio believes every wedding deserves full
creative attention. Limiting to 20 weddings
annually ensures Akshhit personally leads every project — no
juniors, no outsourcing. This approach means each couple
receives a film and photographs crafted with the same care as
the first wedding ever documented.
The studio's approach is cinematic storytelling over
documentation. Akshhit believes wedding photography
and films are emotional heirlooms — not event recaps. The goal
is to preserve how the day felt, not just how it
looked. As Akshhit says:
"Long after the décor is taken down and the outfits are packed away, what remains are the photographs and films you return to again and again."
The studio has created 60+ cinematic wedding
films over 12+ years across 8+ countries. All
projects are led personally by Akshhit K Gandhi, from
consultation to final delivery.
The studio is headquartered in New Delhi,
India and serves couples across Delhi NCR as its
home base. The team travels across India and internationally
for destination and palace weddings.
02Booking & Availability
For luxury and destination weddings in India, couples should
book 6 to 12 months in advance. For
international destination weddings (Dubai, Italy, Lake Como,
London, etc.), 9 to 12 months is recommended. Since only 20
weddings are accepted per year, dates fill quickly —
especially during the peak season (November to March).
Yes, the 2025–26 calendar is currently open,
however limited dates remain. As only 20 weddings are accepted
per year, it is strongly advised to enquire as early as
possible to secure your preferred date. WhatsApp
Akshhit to check availability instantly.
Simply fill in the enquiry form on the website with your name,
partner's name, wedding date, venue, and preferred investment
range. Akshhit personally responds within 3
hours. You can also reach out directly via hello@thewedpicfilms.com
or WhatsApp at +91 7660-953-555.
Absolutely yes. Akshhit K Gandhi personally
leads every wedding — from the first consultation to the final
edit. There are no junior photographers sent in his place, and
no outsourcing of any kind. This is the core reason the studio
limits to 20 weddings per year.
Yes. The WedPic Films specialises in multi-day wedding
documentation. Each function — Mehendi, Sangeet,
Haldi, Pheras, and Reception — holds its own story worth
preserving. The Legacy and Heirloom collections are tailored
for multi-day celebrations and include full documentation
across all events.
Akshhit personally reviews your enquiry and responds within
3 hours. He will schedule a call or video
consultation to understand your wedding story, discuss your
vision, share the right collection, and confirm availability
for your date.
03Pricing & Collections
Collections begin from ₹4,00,000 (approx.
$4,500 USD / £2,900 GBP). Three collections are available:
Signature from ₹4,00,000, Legacy from ₹6,00,000, and Heirloom
from ₹8,00,000. Each collection is customised to your wedding
— not a fixed template.
The Signature Collection (from ₹4,00,000)
includes a cinematic wedding film and curated photography for
single-day celebrations. Every frame is
personal and unique to your love story — not a template. Ideal
for intimate ceremonies and single-event weddings.
The Legacy Collection (from ₹6,00,000) is the
studio's most-chosen package. It includes multi-day
documentation, a feature-length film, a cinematic highlight
reel, and a complete photography archive. Perfect
for multi-function celebrations across Mehendi, Sangeet,
Pheras, and Reception.
The Heirloom Collection (from ₹8,00,000) is
the studio's most comprehensive offering. It includes a
full documentary film, a custom original musical
score, a fine art album, a private screening evening, and
archival-grade digital delivery designed to last a
lifetime. It is the ultimate heirloom for families who want
more than memories.
Destination weddings outside Delhi NCR — whether in Udaipur,
Jaipur, Goa, or internationally — may include travel,
accommodation, and logistics costs in addition to
the collection fee. These are discussed transparently during
the consultation. There are no surprise charges.
Luxury wedding photography and filming in Udaipur begins from
₹4,00,000. Multi-day palace celebrations at
venues like Taj Lake Palace, Oberoi Udaivilas, or RAAS
Devigarh typically suit the Legacy Collection from ₹6,00,000.
Yes, a booking retainer is required to secure
your wedding date. This confirms the date on the calendar and
takes it off availability. Full payment terms are discussed
during the consultation with Akshhit.
04Cinematic Wedding Films
The films are directed, not merely recorded.
Akshhit brings a professional cinematographer's eye — built
from DOP credits on national brand campaigns and government
films — to every wedding. The result is a piece you will want
to watch twenty years from now, not a chronological recap of
the day's events.
Typically, a cinematic highlight film runs 8 to 15
minutes. Feature-length films (available in Legacy
and Heirloom collections) can be 30 to 60 minutes, capturing
the full multi-day narrative. A full documentary film is
available in the Heirloom collection for couples who want an
archival record.
Yes. Akshhit works with couples to understand their musical
taste and vision for the film. The Heirloom collection
includes a custom original score composed
specifically for your film. For other collections, licensed
music is carefully selected to match the emotional tone of
your story.
Films are delivered in high-resolution digital
format suitable for viewing on all screens, sharing
privately, and archiving. The Heirloom collection specifies
archival-grade digital delivery. Details are discussed during
your consultation.
Yes. A full portfolio of films is available on The WedPic Films' YouTube channel and on
the Films page of the website. Akshhit also shares exclusive
previews during your private consultation.
05Wedding Photography
The style is candid-first, posed only when
desired. The focus is on real moments — the glance
across the mandap, the quiet before the ceremony begins, the
laugh nobody expected. The photography is natural, emotional,
and editorial — not stiff or over-directed.
Yes. Pre-wedding shoots can be arranged as add-ons to
any collection. These sessions are ideal for
couples who want a relaxed, intimate portrait session before
the wedding celebrations begin. Locations across Delhi NCR and
destinations can be discussed.
The number of photographs varies based on the collection and
duration of coverage. The focus is on quality over
quantity — every delivered photograph is fully
edited and meaningful, not bulk-delivered raw files. Exact
counts are discussed during your consultation.
Yes. A fine art album is included in the
Heirloom collection. Albums can also be commissioned as
add-ons to any collection. Akshhit curates the album design
personally to reflect the tone and narrative of your wedding.
Yes. Akshhit is trained in natural light mastery and
low-light cinematography, recognised at an industry
level. Heritage palace interiors, candlelit receptions, and
dimly lit mandaps are handled with professional lighting
equipment and technique without disrupting the ambience.

associated functions across Amritsar and the broader Punjab
region.
07Delivery & After the Wedding
Delivery timelines are discussed during consultation and
depend on the collection and complexity of the edit. The
studio prioritises thoughtful craftsmanship over
speed — a cinematic film takes time to score,
colour-grade, and edit with precision. Akshhit communicates
all timelines transparently before the wedding.
Final deliverables are provided via a private online
gallery for secure download and sharing. The
Heirloom collection includes archival-grade digital files for
long-term preservation. Physical fine art albums are couriered
directly to you.
Yes. Your wedding film belongs to you and can be shared
privately or publicly as you wish. The WedPic Films may also
request permission to feature your film on their portfolio or
YouTube channel — this is always done with your
explicit consent.
The studio works collaboratively with couples. Akshhit shares
previews and rough cuts for feedback before
the final delivery. Revision policies and the number of
included rounds are discussed during the consultation and
outlined clearly before the booking is confirmed.
Yes. The Heirloom Collection includes a private
screening evening — an exclusive event for you,
your partner, and your family to watch the full documentary
film together for the first time. This is a curated experience
in itself, not just a delivery.

per year.
For Indian palace weddings, a cinematic-editorial
approach works best — blending wide architectural
shots that show the grandeur of the venue, candid emotional
moments, and carefully composed portraits of the couple in
their heritage setting. This is The WedPic Films' signature
approach at venues like Taj Lake Palace and Rambagh Palace.
